Do you remember that game musical chairs? Of course you remember. You go around a line of chairs while the music plays with your eye on the chair you’re hoping to grab. (It’s quite a dangerous game. I don’t know why we ever played it as kids.) But do you remember that feeling of losing? The music stops and somehow you find yourself standing while everyone is giggling in their seats. You’re all alone, wondering if you should stay and watch your friends play or if you should just leave.
I think this feeling is something a lot of twenty somethings feel right now. “All of my friends know what they’re going, but I don’t know what I want to do in my life…”
Is musical chairs the carousel of a 20 something lost soul?
